Where is the “deflection”? I simply suggested that Iran is running low on drones after selling 1000s to Russia. Was that prudent in light of the ongoing war with Israel (which Iran started on October 7)? The Ayatollah decided to take the cash, and now his country is being flambe’d.

Trump - unlike Biden - has done a great job of keeping US troops out of wars. I see no reason for that to change. Israel is fully capable of defending itself, though bombing the Houthis does tend to stretch resources. But the goat herders are going to have difficulty reloading now that their supplier is out of business.

I was going to say, they sent 300 last April. Maybe their supplier went out of business, or they’re on an austerity budget.

That didn't work very well for them last year.

Iran’s problem last time was their missiles lacked the precision to attack military targets that were hardened or dispersed. They would be more effective against population centers, but not significantly so. Israel will likely launch another round of attacks tomorrow after evaluating today’s damage.

Now would be a good time for Iran to activate its sleeper cells. Target rich environment with the “no kings” protests, military parade and anti-police riots around the country.

Why do you people insist on thinking that people who are against the war between Russia and Ukraine are allies of Russia? Why can't we just be against sending billions of unaccounted-for tax dollars, and depleting our own weapons inventory to wage a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine? I don't understand why it's so hard to accept that point of view without labeling someone. You folk who call us Putin allies and Russian trolls, bring up his name and the word Russia more than we ever do.

For your information, we fought proxy wars with Russia and China in Korea and Vietnam. Ukraine is just another one with Russia. Did we have a total victory in the Korean War? No. Did we have a total victory in Vietnam War? No. Is Ukraine going to win the war? No. That's because the only people who won anything in the Korean and Vietnam wars were the individuals who had investments in the military industrial complex. Same thing is going on with the Russia-Ukraine war. People died so other people could get wealthy.

For years we fought overseas to stop the spread of communism. Did it work? No, and that's because while we were fighting over there, we took our eye off the ball at home and domestic communism crept in here without firing a shot. It infiltrated our schools and our government to the point where they felt confident enough to steal a Presidential election. Communism is still alive and well in the United States. You can either ignore it, and send all your money overseas to help other countries fight their battles, or you can spend the money you need to get rid of it here, because no European country, along with Russia and Ukraine will be coming over here to save our asses like we saved theirs in two World Wars.

I believe in America First. The war between Russia and Ukraine is Europe's problem. Not ours. There is no national security interest in Ukraine, but there is a national security interest in our border, and in Texas, which is the same size as Ukraine. The reason Texas is far more important than Ukraine is because Democrats have been trying to turn Texas blue for years. If it ever happens you can kiss this country goodbye. Sorry if you don't think that we need to save this country first, using what available money there is to do it, before we go off half-cocked and sacrifice this country to help another.
