DOGE: Social Security Officially Removes 12.3 Million Individuals Listed Age 120+ 111 Elon Musk holds a chainsaw reading "Long live freedom, damn it" during the annuaSAUL LOEB/AFP via Getty Hannah Knudsen26 May 20251,624 2:03 Social Security has removed from its rolls 12.3 million individuals listed as 120 years old or older, according to the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The discrepancies in the Social Security figures and the alarming ages of some of the individuals listed have garnered national attention over the last several months.

As a result, in March DOGE began to update the American people on the massive cleanup begun by Social Security. In a March 18 update, DOGE said Social Security had marked 3.2 million social security number holders aged 120 or older as deceased, warning that there was still more work to be done.

Over one month later, on April 24, DOGE provided another update, revealing that a stunning 11 million individuals listed as age 120+ were now marked as deceased. And in the most recent update, delivered last week, DOGE revealed that a total of 12.3 million individuals listed as 120+ years old were now officially marked as deceased in the system.

“Some complex cases remain, such as individuals with 2+ different birth dates on file. These will be investigated in a follow-up effort,” DOGE added.

This update coincides with other red flags issued by DOGE figurehead Elon Musk, as he made waves in March when he claimed that 2.1 million non-citizens received social security numbers in 2024. Regarding how that is possible, a coworker of Musk’s looking at social security, Anthony Gracias, CEO of Valor Equity Partners, said that the previous administration had a policy that allowed migrants to enter the country and then register for social security, Breitbart News reported.

Years ago, one of my in-laws (on Social Security) saw his benefits disappear when his SSA record was marked “deceased.” Interestingly, the IRS didn’t care and demanded he and his wife pay taxes, because my in-law was still a practicing architect well into his 70s. At least his wife got survivor’s benefits before everything was straightened out. It took a lawsuit to fix.

They weren't getting benefits. They were dead.

The only thing this poor bookkeeping would effect would be statistics. And that could actually be a big deal in computing...when we will run out...

Yeah, let's see recoupment for every last penny, imprisonment, and deportment as applicable.

Why can’t the county morgue report the info on the death certificates to the feds?

>>>>Prosecute who for what?<<<<

Prosecute anyone who received money that wasn’t rightfully theirs.

Prosecute them for stealing and fraud.

Absolutely. Find out where those checks were going and who was cashing them and prosecute them for their crimes.

A few months ago, a funeral director told me they forward everything up to the SSA within a week or better. And this funeral director shares an office with the county coroner.

I wonder if the excess millions of people on ss roll or voter roll somehow factor into census and proportion of house reps or monies states get? Maybe Dems have fought to keep them on rolls for multiple reasons other than election shananigans?

Maybe they weren’t receiving benefits, and maybe the tens of millions of illegitimate voter registrants on the voter roles didn’t actually cast a vote in 2020.

The point is that a clean database is the primary control against fraud, and the fact that databases have been systematically left so dirty not only invites fraud, but is very likely is part of a premeditated scheme.

An apt private sector comparison is fake bank accounts. In order to embezzle cash, one must set up a fake bank account in the name of the payee, but which they have access to.

Just imagine the CFO discovering such a fake bank account, and saying “..but it doesn’t appear any deposits have been made yet, so..no problem.”

Wrong. Purging these databases is a very big deal and the fact that they are so much in need of purging is criminal in and of itself. No private sector company would ever tolerate it.
