I have EU citizenship rights but I don’t have the slightest interest in becoming a dual citizen. I am an American and that’s all I’ll ever be.

I have dual citizenship, the U.S. and U.K.

At one time, having two passports made it very easy when traveling Europe. There were also areas of the world where the British passport didn’t act as a beacon to the less upstanding elements of society.

I also keep a third passport thanks to classmate from my MBA program, and can get a Polish passport which I am thinking about just because of the EU thing. But it isn’t about citizenship, as much as it as about having options for travel and business.

When I turned 18 I could have joined the British Army and gone to Northern Ireland or the US Army and go to Viet Nam because I had a dual citizenship. I joined the USAF and n’er regretted a moment.I"m 8 generations of American.
