Trump is giving AOC and Bernie a victory by funding the Green New Deal and Biden’s Medicaid expansion. He is continuing Biden’s unsustainable budget deficits, taking it from 6% to 7%. His refusal to cut Democrat spending priorities is why Chip Roy has had to stand up for the American taxpayer. The cowardice of other GOP lawmakers is disheartening. The entire GOP caucus should be vetoing this fiscal atrocity.

I don’t agree with Chip on some things, but his principled objection here is why I hold him in high regard. People here talk loosely about how the dollar is worthless, and so on. If we run the 7% deficits Trump wants today, vs the 3% in Trump’s first term, the dollar will see its value crater at a much more rapid rate.

Chip Roy is my congressman-he’s a smart lawyer, and he is good at supporting issues that benefit Texas. He also has a huge ego that makes him insist on being the center of attention, and will trash everyone-even those in his own party-to get it-he has done this several times before, so he is unreliable.

You are right, and Chip Roy is dead wrong on this issue-he needs to just shut up and go with pres Trump instead of trying to screw us all with his self-serving performance. I’m all for voting him out next time-back to his legal practice so he can grandstand in court-not congress. The people here saying he is doing good must not be from Texas-they don’t know this guy...
