The thing that suddenly changed is that the media is going out of its way to point this out for some reason (first CNN now ABC)

IMO, every Democrat politician who has ever been interviewed by anyone in the past 25 years, had the questions screened/approved and an answer ready to go. Meanwhile, any Repub/conservative may have been told a “general outline” and then got hit head-on with questions from outer space. Who was it that was asked to name the president of some third tier African country? (Palin?)

ABC didn’t give Biden the questions and they didn’t edit it either, it ran all the way through and it was a disaster for Biden.

Just admit it you guys who were so worried and scared and said Biden would look good in this interview were WRONG.

Once you realize there is absolutely NO reason to fear Democrats, their opinions, or their actions, it becomes very easy to crush them. These are not worthy enemies. They’re paper tigers who crumble when pressed.

My general sense is, who cares? What matters is whether the questions enlighten or hide the truth.

He was given 5 questions to ask but had time for only four of them. He didn’t get to ask all the questions he wanted to ask. He wanted to ask all 5 questions he was given. I don’t think he’s the smartest guy in radio if he doesn’t have any questions of his own.

Democrats are like mosquitoes in that you can slap a few here or there but they are relentless and will keep coming until you just get too tired. They are also quite numerous and they can keep after you until they have sucked all of the life out.

Who made these people ask the questions they were given? I’d have chuckled and tossed them in the trash.

Any real journalist would have done the same.

I know right? Now all of a sudden there’s all this negative news about Biden in the media. It’s like a light switch was flipped on , on the evening of that debate. Now all of a sudden it’s okay for the media to report negatives about Biden.

They aren’t even talking much about Trump in recent days. It’s all about how bad Biden performed, and all the talk about whether this Campaign Will Survive.

It’s enough to make you think that the media has gone into death watch mode regarding Biden.

The long knives are out. It’s weird seeing it happen in real time.

The candidates almost always try to steer interviews in the direction they want. The interviewers can either ask them those questions or ask their own. That is how the talk show business works.

During a campaign, the handlers will often send a list of topics the candidate would like to talk about. Often, radio interview shows are not dealing with the President of the US and they literally don’t know what to ask. So it helps fill the time. Believe it or not…radio interviewers are usually good talkers in their specialty, but not really sharp when they are out of their norm.

That said, any interviewer who says they will ask the questions and only those questions should not have a show worth much. And if the guest limits the topics, they should not be on the show. Even if it is the President.

(My wife had a morning talk show on a mid market station for a couple years. Now she is the media person getting her “docs” on the air for local talk show and news events. And yes, at one time she interviewed Reagan and she interviewed Dukakis a bunch of times.)
