They are upset that poor people live near factories, mines, refineries, mills, docks, wharves, and power plants — because that’s where the blue collar jobs are.
They are upset that factories, mills, power plants and refineries don’t get built in Beverly Hills, Palos Verdes Estates, Chappaqua and Fisher Island, Florida.
Then why are they mentioning race? I live an hour south of the old iron-mining region along the NY/NJ border, and an hour east of the coal country of PA - no “people of color” involved in those endeavors. In my town here in NJ, Scots were brought over to work in factories and mills in the 19th century - no “people of color” there, either.
It’s a BS hoax; many of the problems for the black permanent underclass are related to the fact that after they moved to factory areas the factories closed anyway. Too many simply never adapted - and still won’t.
