Jews, Jews & more Jews... Lessons to be learned

Jews seem to generate a lot of negative emotions among non-Jews. While it's become particularly intense since Israel began retaliating against Hamas, it's been going on for a long time.

The Romans fought three wars against the Jews, who had been a civilization for over a millennium before the time the Romans touched the sands of the Middle East.  The first of those wars, the First Jewish – Roman War 66-73 AD, which ended with the deaths of defenders of Masada resulted in the destruction of the Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple, the death of 50,000 Jews and absolute Roman control of Jerusalem.

Throughout the three wars the Jewish universe would change dramatically, with the adherents going from a powerful entity (although one subservient to the Romans) in the eastern Mediterranean, with semi-autonomous local control and nominal power over large swaths of land to a vilified people with virtually no power, no land and its surviving population either sold into slavery or kicked out of its traditional home and spread out across the region.

The reasons given for people hating Jews through the ages are numerous. They were a thorn in the side of the Romans.  They killed Christ.  They’re greedy bankers.  They’re insular, self-dealing, and dislike non-Jews and their faith puts them above other 2nd tier peoples and religions. Then some people say Jews stole the land from the Arabs, put Palestinians in camps, and Israel was founded by men like Menachem Begin and Yitzhak Shamir, who were actual terrorists.

In America some of that hate exists.  Why? The answers are things like: Because Jews control everything.  Jews built and controlled Hollywood, think Loew, Meyer, and Warner up to Weinstein, Geffen & Emanuel. Jews control the media, think Zucker, Iger, Bloomberg, Newhouse, and others. Jews frequently use finance to perpetrate scams on others, think Boesky, Epstein, and Madoff. They control Wall Street, think Bill Ackman, Larry Fink & Stephen A. Schwarzman, Steve Cohen, John Paulson, and many others. They have a huge influence on technology & Silicon Valley, think Zuckerberg, Ellison, Page & Brin, Ballmer, Dell, and Cuban.  In business in general they’re everywhere, founding Home Depot, Carnival Cruise Lines, Rocket Mortgage, Levis, Hyatt Hotels, Ben & Jerry's, Starbucks, Snapple, and many more.

Then of course there is the place where power is most cancerous, the government.  Here, particularly where Democrats are concerned, Jews play a dominant role.  This just-fired administration is a great example:  Homeland Security was helmed by Alejandro Mayorkas, Treasury by Janet Yellin, State by Tony Blinken while the AG was Merrick Garland, and the Chief of Staff was Ron Klain, who followed Jeffrey Zients. Not to mention the bottom feeders in Congress from Jamie Raskin, Jerry Nadler, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, and Adam Schiff.  And the groups that push America to pour billions of dollars into Israel’s security like AIPAC (The American Israel Public Affairs Committee).

And lastly it was the Rosenbergs who gave the secrets of nuclear power to the Soviets, Marc Elias who helped Joe Biden steal the White House and George Soros who has funded the near collapse of the United States.

All in all, for someone looking to hate, Jews make a good target.

But here’s the thing… most of the names listed above – even the vermin Democrats – are relatively well known because they’ve been successful.  And most of them – except the vermin Democrats – have become successful because they created a business or a service that consumers – all consumers, not just Jews – were able and willing to exchange their hard-earned money for in a free market, i.e. making people’s lives better.  That is very possibly the most noble way for a human being to make money.

When someone stops to think of all the Jewish names above and other ones they know, one might think that Jews are a huge segment of the population.  But they’re not.  Here in America Jews number about 7 million, or about 2% of the population. Worldwide the 16 million Jews, represent just .2% of the population.

Do you ever wonder why when we think of Jews we think of banking and media and not construction or farming?  Is it because Jews can’t build or farm? No. They built Jerusalem long before the Romans arrived and created a vibrant farming industry out of what was essentially a 19th century desert in what would later become Israel.  The reason Jews are often associated with banking and media and other such pursuits has to do with the fact that historically, in much of the world, they were prohibited from large swaths of the economy. In Europe, under both the Romans and their Christian successors Jews were often excluded from craft and merchant guilds.  In Islamic lands, while not necessarily excluded, they faced Jizya, a tax on non-Muslims.

Those exclusions and taxes dovetailed with usury bans on Christians and Muslims to open up a significant opportunity for Jews, which they were well equipped to take advantage of.  A key element of their being able to take advantage of that opportunity comes directly from the Jewish faith itself, which requires Jews read the Torah.  Literacy, and its companion numeracy, allowed Jews to be successful bankers. That expertise and success in turn provided them with the capital and connections with which to branch into other elements of what we would today call white-collar businesses.

Another hit piece based upon someone’s misleading and, in many cases, personal opinion. I could easily go way back in history but the Jewish nation has been a scapegoat for their ancestors for years and pay a price for just trying to live. The most recent history BS from this brainless rant covers a lot of time.

Until the 1960s, approximately one million Jews lived in Iran and other Arab countries having arrived in the region more than 2,000 years before. Nowadays, it is estimated that only around 15,000 remain, as the majority of the Jewish population in Muslim lands were forced to flee their homes in the years following the establishment of the State of Israel. This mass expulsion and exodus is part of modern history, but inexplicably, it’s neither taught at schools nor remembered within the context of the conflicts in the Middle East. That’s not fashionable I guess. For over 2,500 years, Jews lived continuously in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf region. The first Jewish population had already settled there at least 1,000 years before the advent of Islam.

Despite the positive influence that Jews brought to the places where they lived, more than 850,000 Jews were forced to leave their homes in Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Morocco, and several other Arab countries in the 20 years that followed the Arab-Israeli war of 1948. Another major forced migration took place from Iran in 1979–80, following the Iranian Revolution and the collapse of the shah’s regime, adding 70,000 more Jewish refugees to this number.

In 1947, the Political Committee of the Arab League (League of Arab States) drafted a law that was to govern the legal status of Jewish residents in all of its member states. This Draft Law of the Arab League provided that “...all Jews – with the exception of citizens of non-Arab countries – were to be considered members of the Jewish ‘minority state of Palestine’; that their bank accounts would be frozen and used to finance resistance to ‘Zionist ambitions in Palestine; Jews believed to be active Zionists would be interned as political prisoners and their assets confiscated; only Jews who accept active service in Arab armies or place themselves at the disposal of these armies would be considered ‘Arabs.” And don’t forget, the Jews wee there first.

And it has deteriorated since then, and land recognized under the control of Israel has been systematically taken from them. In many cases as a good faith action. Gaza is the newest of those forfeitures.

We had the same type of scenario here in the US when the American Indians warmly greeted the Europeans and were persecuted into reservations and their land taken from them through force. Sound familiar?

Bill Ackman does a lot of good, such as funding the lab of David Sabatini, who was cast out of my alma mater MIT for “crimes” against feminazis! Sabatini is a potential Nobel Prize winner, as well as a potential life-saver!

Ackman is also a leader in the effort to save Harvard, my other alma mater. And he’s a Trump supporter.

May he come to Christ, our Lord and the Jewish Messiah!

“Does this make the holocaust a reset?”

Many liberal historians are trying to say the holocaust never happened.

We hear more about the exodus and expulsions than about the fact that Israel wanted and undertook operations to bring about the exodus and possibly even the expulsions.

There is another reason, from Europe’s history, why Jews are prominent in some areas.

In most of Europe for about 18 centuries a Jew could live somewhere in Europe but almost never were allowed to be citizens. As non-citizens being part of many things, including the political structure, was out of the question. But that proved a benefit in some ways for very talented Jews. A person of power was able to put a talented Jew in a good job, knowing that job could not advance the Jew in any manner of obtaining powers only open to citizens.

So the various ruling classes often hired talented Jews to collect the taxes, keep the financial records, conduct trade for the sovereign, manage farms and lands worked by the peasantry and serfs; all because doing so kept those jobs out of the hands of potential rivals. Fellow citizens could not be trusted as much as the power-neutered Jew.

It was easy for average Europeans to learn to hate the “dirty Jew” in those circumstances. Unfortunately what was gained by many talented Jews was not the experience of most Jews. Lacking citizenship as well as great talent, the average Jews was the poorest of the poorest of the poor in Europe. The word ghetto befits the living standards of most Jews in Europe for 18 centuries.

The talent Jew in those positions made sure their children (primarily their sons) learned math, finance, trade, business management at an official level.

By the time Jews in Europe could finally become citizens - the Napoleonic era, talented Jews were poised to rise in the new economies that would soon be developing, and then again resentment of “the dirty Jew” grew from the Jews success.

During my adult life I have tracked the number of violent actions committed against Americans by Jews where the majority pro-Jew support groups have supported the violence through words, actions, and silence. The answer is zero and there are no indicators I know of where this is changing. Thus, I have nothing against Jews. And I’m fine with them in government positions as long as they are pro-Constitution. For example, Marc Levin.

We hear more about the exodus and expulsions than about the fact that Israel wanted and undertook operations to bring about the exodus and possibly even the expulsions.

According to historical records, the Jewish people did control a significant portion of the land considered the Middle East, specifically the region of ancient Israel, under the reigns of Kings David and Solomon around 1000 BCE, establishing a unified Jewish kingdom in the area.

In 66–136 CE, the wars commenced a long period of violence, enslavement, expulsion, displacement, forced conversion, and forced migration against the local Jewish population by the Roman Empire (and successor Byzantine State), beginning the Jewish diaspora. If the Jews had control of these areas, why would they have a fight unless they were attacked?

The current situation in Israel is that they hve been receiving missiles from a couple of sourcers all attached to Iran. I’d hit them too. They didn’t start this, the hamas government in Gaza did with the missiles and forced entry into Israel kidnapping and killing. Please show me what they did to coerce this attack other than let hamas move into control of the Gaza government and shut down elections in 2006. And how long are they expected to keep quiet? Since 2001, Palestinian militants have launched tens of thousands of rocket and mortar attacks on Israel from the Gaza Strip as part of the continuing Israeli–Palestinian conflict. The attacks, widely condemned for targeting civilians, have been described as terrorism by the United Nations, the European Union, and Israeli officials, and are defined as war crimes by human rights groups Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. Oh those poor Palestinians that have killed non-combatents prior to killing Israeli people and raping Israeli women in person. They are so put upon. They asked for it.
