The three Ukrainian nationals were arrested in Germany and Switzerland on suspicion of agreeing to send parcels containing explosive or incendiary devices from Germany to Ukraine, German prosecutors said. The US Postal Service (USPS) said it has stopped accepting parcels from mainland China and Hong Kong until further notice. Letters will not be affected by the suspension, said the company, which declined to offer a reason for the decision, external. Two DHL packages containing explosive materials were found by security officials at the Cairo International Airport Tuesday. Reports say the packages were making their way to the United States through London. Ahram.org reports: The source at the airport said that the parcels, weighting about 10kg, were going through security procedures when the explosive substances were detected by the X-Ray scans. The two parcels underwent further examinations which confirmed the existence of explosives. The official said that the parcels have been put under heavy security until authorities can identify their owners.
