When angry voters confronted Rep. Rich McCormick over DOGE at a town hall held in the Georgia Republican's deep-red district, the New York Times, Washington Post, and CBS News cited the scene as proof of emerging bipartisan "backlash" over Elon Musk's efforts to slash government spending. CBS included a quote from one of the protest's organizers, Maggie Goldman, describing her only as a McCormick constituent. Goldman does live in McCormick's district, though she's far from a concerned supporter of the two-term Republican. A self-described "Democrat & Political Activist," Goldman, who did not respond to a request for comment, coordinated volunteers...

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Anti Elon Musk protesters crowded the sidewalk outside the Tesla dealership in San Francisco Monday. Chanting things like, “Hey-hey, ho-ho, Trump and Musk have got to go,” protesters waved signs emblazoned with anti-Musk messaging like ‘Don’t Buy Nazi Cars,” “Our Democracy is Not a Startup,” and “No One Voted for Elon Musk.” The demonstration was part of a national day of protest taking place across the country on the Presidents’ Day holiday Monday.

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Hundreds of people are protesting along Main Street in downtown Greenville on Monday. According to social media posts, the protest started as part of the 50501 Movement, which is taking place in state capitols across the nation on Monday to oppose the Trump administration and Elon Musk’s role in accessing government information. Protestors in Greenville are holding signs outside City Hall with messages like “Americans Against Trumpism,” “Elon Was Not Elected,” and “Fight the Coup.” The crowd is chanting, “we will not be silenced” and “save our country.”

The 50501 Movement—or 50 states, 50 protests, one day—is garnering support throughout social media over its plan to stage demonstrations across the nation to "fight Fascism" on February 5.
