Will Cain is struggling in the 4 PM slot. He brings Carville on to spout off. The correct counter to Carville’s claim that the Democrats are the greatest party ever is “what have you done for us lately?”.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Probably accurate. They managed to coup in the USA to steal an election then blame Trump for it.
To: aquila48
Indeed. They wanted broken borders, broken cities, broken economies, endless wars…. And by golly…. They did it.

Mold is very effective at spreading and ruining a building. The democrat party is like that.

It has been effective in their attempts to destroy America. The only reason it has been so effective is that Republicans have, and continue to help them.
Murkowski
Collins
China Mitch
Paul Ryan
Massie
Rand Paul
That is just the collaborator starter pack.

For this year, John Cornyn is off the list. He is proclaiming himself MAGA as he faces the challenge from Ken Paxton the fist Tuesday of March 2026.
To: Theodore R.
Some Republicans have a long tradition of golden proclaimations but dirty actions. Cornyn isn’t fooling anybody paying attention.

Replace “effective” with “destructive” and he’d be right.

jeffersondem:
"I knew someone would have to defend Abraham Lincoln’s white supremacy statements, and his oath to protect and defend the Union’s pro-slavery constitution, and his efforts to repatriate black people to somewhere else."
The issue in 1860 was not "white supremacy", the issue was slavery -- Democrats supported it, Republicans opposed it.
When Republicans won the 1860 election, Democrats declared secession and then war against the United States.
Democrats have been at literal or political war against America ever since.
Lincoln's views on slavery did not change -- as Lincoln wrote in December 1860, to then Senator, future CSA VP, Alexander Stephens:
Lincoln: "You think slavery is right and ought to be extended; while we think it is wrong and ought to be restricted."
By "restricted", Lincoln meant: abolished wherever possible.
For example, in opposing the SCOTUS Dred Scot ruling, in June 1858, Lincoln warned:
Lincoln: "We shall lie down pleasantly dreaming that the people of Missouri are on the verge of making their State free; and we shall awake to the reality, instead, that the Supreme Court has made Illinois a slave State."
However, Lincoln's views on the future fates of freed slaves did, somewhat, "evolve".
- In 1816 the American Colonization Society (ACS) was founded and supported through Federal and several state government funding in amounts that would today be billions of dollars.
From 1816 to 1904, ACS and similar groups sponsored voluntary African American emigrations to Liberia, Sierra Leone, Haiti, Belize & Panama.
Today several hundred thousand Liberians trace their ancestry back to ACS sponsored freed slaves from the USA.
- While the ACS had some success, overall, it was costly in both money and lives, since a large number of colonists died within a few years of arrival in Africa.
The death rate of freed slaves arriving in Liberia was roughly similar to that of the first English colonists arriving in Jamestown VA and Plymouth MA. - As President, Lincoln hoped to expand on ACS results with colonies of volunteers in Panama and Haiti, both of which failed miserably, and so by 1865, Lincoln had turned his efforts toward making life for freed slaves more livable in the United States.
- On April 11, 1865 Lincoln spoke from the White House to a crowd celebrating the Union victory, and proposed, in effect, citizenship for freed blacks.
In the crowd was one person not so happy about Union victory, John Wilkes Booth, who remarked that it would be Lincoln's last speech.
And so it was...
Today, Booth's successors wish to continue assassinating Lincoln's character, since they can't dig up his body and further mutilate it.

Biden and Carville would sit next to each other for a few minutes and say: “Nice to meet you, what is your name, my good fellow?”
To: ChicagoConservative27
If so, why did he say this just after the election?
