“You say stuff like that, and it gets personal. “

Agree, this explosion of egos is awful for us. Both men were making great gains at MAGA.

I suspect Musk was getting frustrated by the lack of Republican/Trump effort to support his sacrifices to fix the government waste. I know I certainly am.

Elon was always a short fused, thin skinned mudslinger. He loves to throw insults at the slightest hint of being insulted. Remember 2018 when the Thais turned down his rescue plan for the kids trapped in the cave? Unfortunately, Trump isn’t that much different in this particular area. This was always going to happen. I also don’t think Elon has any particular allegiance to America. Had Russia not strung Musk along when he was just getting SpaceX started, Russia might be leading the world in space technology.

The Tesla bubble was always going to pop eventually. They can’t survive as a dominant market player without subsidies. Even with subsides their future growth potential is not great. Ultimately Tesla’s are expensive toys that are not practical for most people.

SpaceX is our space program. They launch more hardware by themselves than the whole rest of the world combined including all other US companies and at a much lower cost than everyone else!

See, here is the thing. Elon managed to finagle his way into being the heavy lift NASA provider. People think its great that Elon is going to get us to Mars, and he is paying for it. Well, the problem with this model is that when Elon loses interest, the program has no where to go. You can complain about NASA, but this is the risk of the alternatives to NASA.

Yeah....I agree. And AI will take over from there.

There’s no free lunch. Technology that makes our lives easier is also used to control. Be better off if we had nuclear Armageddon to send us back to the stone age so we can’t kill ourselves totally off.

So Musk disagreeing with Trump brands him a traitor? Unreal.

Threatening to withhold an important national security asset is flirting with treason.

This is also a dumb statement by Musk. This can get him into some serious trouble.

You don't try to strong arm the Federal government. You coax, you wheedle, you urge. Threatening it is a bad idea.

Know what this is? Although I would rather “neither do it at all”, but I think this is about Vance’s friend Thiel and Palantir getting the spot to take over the government databases instead of Musk.

If so Musk has a legitimate valid complaint considering what he did for Trump already. I haven’t looked, but I wonder if Palantir has been listed in the BBB. It would be related to immigration security or defense spending.

Elon Musk not so long ago accused the rescue swimmer who saved a group of Thai children trapped in a cave, called him a pedophile because he rejected some technology gadget that Elon offered him for the rescue.

Where are the files? Just release them already - unredacted. Trump, if there, included.

Else....

I’m honestly wondering if this whole thing between Trump and Elon os a Kayfabe.

Occam's Razor says it's just two monster egos going at it like King Kong and Godzilla.

Trump has the Presidency. As a private businessman, Musk has little ability to derail Trump and his agenda. He’ll only end up damaging his brand and his companies if he tries.

I think if the Epstein Island thing about Trump is false, Musk might just get sued for about $100 billion. Or more.

That was a very dumb thing to say. It may have consequences far beyond what Musk envisioned.

Read the excerpt, Musk is going after and shutting down our national defense and space capabilities in a major way, that spells traitor, a threat to our nation.

He better realize quickly the ramifications of turning enemy agent and coming at us as a nation.
