Reagan said that in politics if you get 79% of what you want, take it and come back to the table later for more. Evidently, Johnson missed that bit of common sense.
He must also have missed the paraphrase of General George S. Patton, Jr., to the effect of, “The perfect is the enemy of the good.”
Bloody moron - and on top of that, he airs an intro-party squabble in public. Ron ain’t too bright, is he?
70%, not 79%. Fat fingers.
A WANNABE PRESIDENT IDJIT.
HE IS ABOUT TO LOSE HIS COJONES.
What is it that’s in this “big beautiful bill” that you like so much? It increases spending across the board, it funds fraud in medicaid, social security, and welfare programs. It doesn’t accomplish a hell of a lot of good, so far as I can tell, but it is BIG so, perhaps I’ve missed all these good qualities you like. Enlighten us.
Ron Reagan didn’t walk on water, either. He was famous for making deals with Congress, giving them everything they wanted, in return for promises to be kept in the future years, and then totally forgotten. Does ‘amnesty for border security’ ring a bell? Trump has lots of good ideas, but he has no fear of debt, and he’s demonstrated that throughout his life. The federal debt is the ONLY REASON that the US dollar is now worth about eighteen cents.
From way back in January from before Trump even took office:
“Republican Senator Ron Johnson Vows to Vote Against Key Donald Trump Demand”
Has been defying Trump’s agenda ever since and is bragging this morning that he has the votes to block Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill.”
Most likely he is a Democrat operative, working undercover and pulled the lever for Kamala Harris.
