Those that flee state tyranny in Oregon, move to Grant’s Pass. They always have done so. To the state Grant’s Pass represents a hotbed of white extremists threatening their power, wealth, and authority. To Grant’s Pass residents they just want to be left absolutely alone. K8nda like going Galt.
Since the Almeda fire, I have to deal with Grant’s pass for everything. It’s a horrible, dirty, lawless crap hole. Worst traffic ever!
The homeless are everywhere. I spend every day trying to find a way to never have to have anything to do with Grant’s pass Oregon.
A nice conservative town has been destroyed.
Nah. It's the black-robed Commie stooges in the federal courts, YET AGAIN.

This is such horse manure. They hang on to what they like to call good intentions by use of premeditated ignorance.

You got it!
It’s time to root out any judges appointed by demonrats and replace them.
From one who knows, I can state with authority:
It’s not a homeless problem.
It’s a liberal democrat problem, compounded by spineless centrists.
Oregon is lost. Never coming back. A harbinger of things to come for the rest of the country due to inaction by ‘republicans’
- from behind enemy lines
You cannot have a civil society with people who refuse to be civilized.
That was my son's position after spending several years in federal law enforcement. He said the term "homelessness" is incorrect in many cases, because it assumes a desire and capacity to live in a home.
“Singapore has treatment for drug addicts. Fail for the third time and you get exiled to a small island off the coast. A couple of times a month, a barge backs up to leave some food and rudimentary building supplies and remove the dead.”
Source, please.
Don’t know if you are on the present Oregon ping list.
I’d be interested in knowing how Grant’s Pass compares with the Bay Area.
(Strangely enough, I was born in one Bay Area, grew up in a second, and have lived most of my life in a third).
“”Those that flee state tyranny in Oregon, move to Grant’s Pass.””
How does moving to a city in OR escape the state tyranny?
Maybe Grants Pass should be renamed ‘Hooverville’ or ‘Bidenville’?w
Maybe the city can outlaw the vending of cigarettes and the retail sale of alcoholic beverages in containers in the city.
Agreed

Unrelated, but a sign of the times: My wife is a writer for a national healthcare system. They just received a message that the “homeless” will not be referred to as “people experiencing homelessness.”
My wife worked in radio news for decades. Using three words when one does the trick just drives her nuts.
236 days left for her.
There was a change of management at the Devereux Center, the local enablers, and bottle returns were moved to a single location. That really screws with the homeless economy. Formerly, every store with a bottle return was a potential ATM, with resident layabouts and panhandlers.
I suspect the problem has been shifted over to the boat ramp area in Empire.
And, yes, I’m on the Oregon ping list.
